Having first met and worked with Nigel Harpur as a touring musician many moons ago, I knew him as one of the best sound engineers I’d ever worked with, who also apparently played a bit of guitar.

Only in more recent times did Nigel appear again on my radar, but this time as an extremely talented composer/arranger/producer, who’d also turned out to be an amazing guitarist!. “Carnival for Little Creatures” is a vibrant and mesmerising journey into the world of jazz, with its intricate melodies, rich harmonies, and dynamic rhythms. Nigel’s masterful compositions evoke a sense of whimsy and wonder, transporting audiences to a playful carnival filled with musical delights. Nigel’s innovative approach to jazz makes this album a must-listen for anyone looking to explore new sonic landscapes.
